Does anyone have pics of their tufskinz interior foam inserts? I’m trying to put in the piece in the front and it keeps bowing, not sure if I’m not doing it right or what. Sorry for the crappy pic.image.jpg

You just asked about what to get first and you already got the sliders in like a day! Did they have them in stock or what?

I think I'm going to pry the lens covers off. Just going to wait until temps warm up so the plastic is less brittle.

It’s going to be a nice setup. What brand are the roost shields?

Yeah I'm excited to get the fronts in. Supposedly will be mid-April but who knows with Bilstein.

The shields are Foxes. You can get them individually from Wheeler's but I got mine on Amazon since I had some gift cards. They seem sturdy enough but you do have to cut a good bit of the axle-side clamp out to get it to fit. Did not have to do anything to the actual shield side.

    Your truck is looking badass.

    Loving the Quicksand, too.

    I like that Easter Egg.

    Outstanding results.

Your truck looks great. Super interior. Damn nice looking seats !!!

    I know, right.

    These Tacos are never done.

Thanks again. I was getting fed up with the stone coasters I was using.

Every time I set my cup down....tink....clink....clang. Ain't nobody got time fer dat.

    Silence will be blessed.

Plus....those coaster things stain badly with coffee and such.

    Hells yes.

That's some serious life from OE tires.

Normally the auto manf strikes a deal with the tire manf and it is typically structured to sacrifice tire longevity for better ride, handling & such. Damn good to hear that OE rubber has done well by you. I'm still rolling on mine, too. Trying to make decisions on which direction I want to go on wheels, lift and rubber.

    Interdasting. Good info, there.

I tend to get heavy-handed with stuff. Finally bought a torque wrench thing for mounting rifle scopes and such. Game changer.

Now.....perhaps I'll apply what I've learned from this to other aspects of my home wrenching, lol.

    You said it.

So many goof ups in my normal day-to-day ops. Mr. Murphy is alive and kicking 'round here.

    Now is that time here.

Temps are running 30's at sunrise.....and peaking at 70 at some point during the day.

Won't be long and it'll be sustained 90's or worse.

Exactly the reason this morning I went by the local tint shop who did my last truck. They gave me a quote on Suntek ceramic that will match up with the look on the factory rears. Very fair, I thought. The owner was the same hombre I dealt with 11 years ago on my last truck. The day I traded that truck.....tint looked super....color was great, no bubbles....no issues. He inspects every job that leaves his shop. He's been in a prime local location since '86 and that alone speaks volumes. His building costs alone have to be substantial. All the guy at work use him. High confidence that I'll like the result.

He did a heat lamp demo with the various stuff available. I was blown away at the heat reduction the ceramics provided. I may also get my wife's RAV4 done with a minimal tint ceramic just to give her the thermal benefits.

    Yup.....I'm that guy.

There are 4 spots in the lot that have a buffered "extra" space marked beside them.....granted they are further out.....but you are assured nobody will be able to reach your car with their doors or even a shopping cart. Normally "my" spots when I go there.

Today, they were all taken when I was making a steak run.

The store manager wasn't there and I took his spot.....one made by a prior ATM location.

It's nothing exciting...simply "what I've done with my 3rd Gen today".

Rules when parking in a shopping center parking lot.
#1 "Park away from the crowd."
#2 Park on the extreme uphill section of the lot.
#3 Close ears while wife complains because you parked so far away!
#4 Obey rule 3 and don't say something you'll pay for later.

Yup, yep, yep and yessir to all aforementioned rules.

I generally always park on the "way out".

    She's used to it.

It gives me time to stretch my legs and loosen up.

She is NEVER with me on such grocery store runs, anyway so I'm golden.

I prefer to grab & go with what I need for daily kitchen/grill endeavors. She tends to clutter it up with practical stuff like household goods that occupy great space in my cart & wallet.

I think of these outings as "beer runs...with a greater purpose".

    @Easthill Bob

I just want to say......every single time you post.....I see your avi pic and Riley is looking splendid.

    It inspires me.

It inspires me to get to the next step where I worry less and less about work.....and more about training a retriever who will ride shotgun with me on my misadventures......fishing, hunting......etc.

I really appreciate the coaching you gave me about these creatures.....best dogs on Earth, IMHO.

    Thanks, man.

In the right time here.....it's gonna happen.
