Do you worry about the mileage on your truck?

Bought wife's 2012 with 140k on it.

 

I bought mine at auction with unknown mileage.

 

Not really. But i track it out of interest.

 

In 200 more miles I'll have 66k on the odometer !!!

 

24k on my 2015 Tacoma and 230K on my 2000 Tundra. Drive the Tundra the most to keep the miles off the Tacoma. I had a 2008 Tundra limited that I hated--too big. First Toyota was a 1980 Corolla [$5300 out the door] that I put 360K miles on.

 

I put 100k on my 4runner the last 6 years. Wish it had only 66k. Lol

 

Nope. I have a 2011 M3 that makes my Taco look like a Prius.

 

Nice car. I'm deciding between an m3, infinity g35/37, or an early 2gz is300. I really like the infinity but the plan is single turbo and the m3 or 2jz can handle more power.

 

I've got about 304k on my 98' Tacoma. I want it to last at least another 5-10 years so I'm planning on rebuilding the engine and probably the transmission this summer. Any tips/suggestions to keep the beast running?

 

I had 600k on my 99 with a stock engine and transmission. Keep up with the maintenance and you will be fine

I have a Toyota Sequoia with 215k miles without an issue with the motor yet

 

I don't worry about what the odometer says, I just worry about preventative maintenance and repairing things properly when they do wear out or break. "ounce of prevention, pound of cure"

180k on the Taco's clock, barely broken in IMHO. Rust will kill the chassis long before high mileage kills the drivetrain.

 

I bought my '09 DCSB IN October of 2016, with 135k on it with no issues and I have every reason to believe it will go to 250k at least. We had an '85 Corolla that was traded in with 325k on it, an '89 Celica GT that had 305k when we sold it, and a '91 Cressida that had 195 ehen traded in. My wife's just traded '03 Highlander had 208 k.

 

I don't worry about them, but don't like how fast they accumulate. I don't drive far for work, but my hobbies of hunting an fishing take me all over so I usually put 20k on in one year. I also like driving so it doesn't really bother me.

 

Had my truck a year now put 35k on it. 100mi commute everyday an trips for recreation an vacation I’m a nazi on maintenance. Not worried in the slightest about mileage but me breaking something wheeling different story.

 

You don't buy cars to park them. You buy them to drive them. My commute is 90 miles round trip right now, so I have been racking up the miles. If and when it dies... you fix it, or you get another. It's a tool. Use it.

 

Not driving your car to keep it in good condition is like not banging your girlfriend to keep her fresh for the next guy

 

I bought my 2011 at 182,000 miles. Now I have like 194,000 I think?

I drive about 20,000 to 30,000 miles a year so I expect to rack up a lot.

No problems other than some small things I've gotten fixed.
