Had fun exploring sleepy creek today with @twheat40. There was about 8” of snow on the ground! Tires did amazing digging through it, and I didn’t rub at all.

Going to drill and tap two holes on top of the swing out, and mount the axe here for easier access.

Also I had what I think is a genius idea. I’m going to try and mount a molle panel on the inside of my drivers side windoor for small things, like all my stuff needed to air up and air down, or a small first aid kit. It’ll save me from having to open the swingout and drawer for tiny things.

Since I’m missing one strut, I’ll replace it with a heavy duty one to support the weight. Still need to try and find a universal one and work out the mounting part of it.

Yeah, easy install. No clue how they do, havent cycled suspension yet. Took it on about a 5 mile shake down on some washboard roads. Ran way smoother than the block set up and leveled my truck, which is what I was after

I a fair amount, but if it was a 9-10 area I was going to look elsewhere. Can get a 285 MTP for $205/tire and might jump on it.

I don't know what a 10 would be, but these are pretty up there. A solid hum at all speeds, and below 10 mph they vibrate the truck from the aggressive lugs. I don't think I'd recommend them for a DD unless you already know what a MT sounds like and are ok with it

Any worse than a regular MT? My truck is not really a DD because I have a work truck and only drive it when I go see my gf 25 miles away a few times a week.

I'm not really sure. The only MT's that I've run have been this tire haha. I had it on stewie and now on this truck. Wish you were closer so you could just come ride in the truck.

I have heard way louder tires. After being next to him for about a 1/2 mile with my windows down, I honestly would say they aren't that bad. I'm sure they hum inside the truck pretty badly, but all MTs do.

Figured out the molle panel situation. I'll buy this and cut it up to fit. To attach it, I'll use some sort of really thick glue, similar consistency to tooth paste, and glue it to the inside. It's carpeted in there so the thick glue will really grab into it.

Had virgin snow on Tatas, Trail J, 15, and a few others. Despite about 2k Heeps, it was a good day.
