Put on my RCI gas skid yesterday, waiting on my mobtown stuff but what a difference! I'm not joking when I say I didn't know I had skid plates. I reached under and tapped for a gas skid and it was plastic so I thought it was the tank. Quick look other places and didn't really see anything I would consider a skid plate and just assumed mine didn't come with them and they must be a dealer add on option for the off-road. Anyways, my cousin who has an off-road tells me I do so we got on the ground and actually looked, and well, there they were!

Anyways, obviously had to replace them all. But what is your call on what to do with the OEM after I take them off. I was initially thinking just put them up for sale on CL cheap and see what happens. Any reason to keep them?

Save them, if in 2 years you want a new truck put them back on and sell the beef ones. Then again you could always just sell it without anything, doubt anyone would bother checking even the dealer.

I might see if any are for sale in the area and see what they are going for. CL can be more Hassel than 20 bucks is worth.

That was my same thought process. Put them on for resale, but then figured no one is gonna look at that before they give me trade numbers. Maybe would matter for private party sale though.

Finally got my aux fuse panel installed.

It had a fair amount of bounce/vibration by itself... so I added a quick support to it. Thankfully my circuit breaker mount lined up perfectly with the diff breather bolt which made it really easy. Rock solid now.

Only the Ham and CB hooked up to it for now - both of which are now double fused since they each have an inline fuse in there stock wiring.

I also cleaned my garage today. Not much in the way of trash, just tons of sand on the floor and lots of stuff I threw on the bench when it was too cold for me to care to find a spot for it.

I also measured above my bench and between it and a shelf that the previous owner had up there's just over 24". The bench is just about exactly 16' long. I think I'm going to buy a 4x8 pegboard sheet, cut it in half lengthwise, and then it'll be perfect to go behind the bench all the way down.

I have a lot of things hanging on nails and screws right now, I think it'll work out a lot better to put a board up.

Found this yardstick behind my bench today, too. I suspect it's from sometime in the 60s, so I hung it up as garage art.

Do you know what she wants to study?

Cant really comment on Roger William... I went to URI which was pretty good, although a bit on the expensive side. I graduated with a Business degree, my Junior and Senior year courses were good... but freshman and sophomore year were just gen eds... which were a bunch of wasted course I had to take... but I think most colleges are like that now.

(Other than architecture) they accept anyone. I scored a 104 in my math classes. Those who know me know I'm the worst Asian ever. My classmates were morons, the curriculum was sub par. I ended up taking classes at uri to get some variety and to be challenged. But the charge like you're going to a tier one school. Thank God I had a scholarship, otherwise what a waste. One of the reasons I went to grad school was that the education I received there was awful
