    Hot Italian Sausage/Ground Beef Chili

    1)1 Pound Italian Hot Sausage(Johnsonville)
    2)1/2 Pound Ground Beef(85% Lean,15% Fat)
3)1/2 Pound Kidney Beans Light Red(Bush’s)
    4)1 Whole Red Tomato Chopped
    5)3 Mini Sweet Peppers Chopped(1 Orange,1 Yellow ,1 Red)
    6)1/2 Yellow Onion Chopped
    7)1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
8)2 OZ Bottle Of V8 Juice(8 OZ Bottle)

    Note:
Green Bell Peppers Are A Suggestion/Option Instead Of Sweet Bell.
    Kidney Beans Optional
Shredded Chedar Cheese Topping While Eating Is A Preferable Suggestion As Well.
This Isn’t A Preferably Hot Version Of Chili That Those Prefer But A Flare To The Kick Of Being Using Hot Italian Sausage/Ground Beef.

I make a version of this chili but I don't use hot sausage. I usually use the sweet and sometimes the mild versions. The Italian sausage gives it a really nice flavor. I do put garlic in mine. Good looking pot of chili !!!

Ah,thanks. Makes sense for easy clean-up. Still looks weird when people are posting picks of their dinner in a plastic bag.

that's how I stumbled across them, was grabbing a turkey bag one year (which turned out great!)

Stupid question: Can these bags be purchased for old-school crockpots or only new ones?
