In what world is 163,000 miles low. I would say thats great miles for the year but when i see low miles i think under 50k

 

That's about 5200 miles a year.

 

Yeah good luck. Your best bet is doing the restoration yourself. That 4runner is gorgeous though he did a great job

My thoughts on this "unicorn"

the turbos are kinda finicky

it has an automatic (only thing available in turbo 4runner, no manual option) that is also available in anything else if you wanted, so nothing special here.

the ultra rare r151f was only available in the turbo pickup, that's why this trans is so rare it was only available for 2 years and on a super low production engine option. I got one just sitting in my basement because I found one 4 hours away, but the man met me like 1.5 hours from my house.

 

So since its just sitting there, you want to sell it to me?

 

haha, no no.. I just added a marlin crawler short throw to it because I goofed and let the thing spin on it's side and hit the shifter and bent one of those stupid pins that hold shifter in.

Also I should've added pickup is only thing the R151f came in america.

 

You should sell me the transmission and just throw in the TDI

then costs to get one shipped, because they're so uncommon over here in the southeast.

 

Was looking at some knives at academy. I know not the best but I needed one. Saw that 581 marked down from $199 to $80. Almost pulled the trigger.
