    Morning all!

Can you change a fuse quicker than a jack rabbit on a date?

Nope. Weekend stuff doesn't require her approval.

Not quite that long, but it was bushy. None of that stubble crap for me.

Yes your 15 amp circuit is maxed out now. Assuming your existing fixtures are T-12, they pull roughly 1.54 amp each, calculate 1.5 amp for each duplex receptacle on circuit. NEC calls for loading new circuits to 80%. Twenty amp circuit =16 amp, fifteen amp circuit =12 amp. Additionally, each door opener should be on it's own circuit.

I recently bought 24- four foot led lamps for $119.00. If you do change out your new fixtures, it sure is much easier to do on the work bench than in the air!

Good morning. Slept in, felt good. Still feel like a nap is in my future today. Put in about 8 hours yesterday connected to work and have about 4 hours more to do today. So that I won't be so buried tomorrow. And dig out tax crap and file last years medical reimbursement. Guess my day is shot. At least I have a steak thawing.

I have 3 T40 uplights in the kitchen area that someday will get around to replacing. At least they are on top of the cabinets and open fixtures so easy to work on unlike the thin mount one in the laundry room with surround and diffuser. My garage I have 2 screw in florescent light bulbs a friend got me about 8 years ago. They draw 100 watts but put out the equivalent of 300W bulbs. Bright as hell so not worried about replacing them anytime soon either. But after I replace my dinning room chandelier light bulbs with 6 LED bulbs I will no longer have a single incandescent light bulb left in the house. Already replaced the ceiling fan lights with these and they work well. Not sure about the base blocking the light in the chandelier though, guess will find out tonight.

I am allergic to cats and sneezing and itching just from all the recent pictures on here. And they seem to know it, cats are evil. But think I found a cat I could like. Could I borrow him? Will he pee on State returns too?

Uh oh! Hmmm, I should be ok as the garage is on its own fused sub panel from when the house was built in 1952. If I pop a fuse with both openers running on the same circuit, I can always screw in a larger one... :anonymous:

GFIC & arc fault aside, I prefer fuses over circuit breakers. I've never seen a fuse arc shut like a breaker. My house actually has a fused master disconnect in the garage and two subs. New circuit breaker panel in the basement and an old fuse box in the garage.

    Morning all
Had my Mom's car towed 35 miles to a shop by me. Remember how it wouldn't start? Started up first time after the tow, tons of gray, gas smelling smoke out the back. I would guess it was the ethanol, like so many of you guessed.

Moved a big cabinet to my Moms new digs, back didn't make it. I am on a heating pad.
