Don’t want running boards, just the steps. Anyone know of any that won’t require drilling?

What do you mean? The truck already has the holes to bolt onto.

Yup. Any 2nd Gen steps will bolt on as well. (Just make sure you get the right cab/bed conf, though)

I know there are existing holes but the steps that I’ve looked at so far say they are universal to all trucks and may require drilling. I’m trying to find ones that match up with Tacoma

Ah, I see. The predator steps are somewhat similar although is one piece and does not require drilling. Not sure about those individual steps.

I think you will have to drill if you’re set on those steps. The existing holes are too spread out. Maybe you could use a couple of the holes if they lined up where you wanted. Predators or nfab may be a compromise.

Yeah I think you’re right. I’ll probably have to go with the running board that has steps welded onto them. I’ll probably just end up with the running board

FWIW - I liked the Toyota Predators so well I bought them again for my 4Runner. Drilling would take more courage than I have. Good luck.
