Purchased a 95 over the weekend in and can't wait to start working on it. This truck came from California but has been local in NC for the last few years. Overall i'm pleased with the exterior condition of the truck. Here in WNC its very hard not to find 1st gens that aren't ruined or ate up with rust. Yes it has a few dents and paint chips but it isn't bad at all considering the age. Has the larger 4cy 2.7 which I prefer. Drove it an hour home and couldnt believe how well it drove on the interstate. Miles are 244k but that should be fine for me just driving it 20-30 miles a day back and forth to work. I have a bag full of service records and the oil was changed every 3k from this owner. I plan on giving this guy some love and care this week as it needs to be cleaned up. Wouldn't consider this a "project" truck but I look forward to putting some touches on it. They're are few questions I have so any help would be a appreciated.

    1. Seat covers for the 95. Should I go Wet Okole or something else and I'm interested in is there any newer Tacoma/4runner seats that bolt in?

    2. Cost of changing all the vacuum lines? Pulling a evap leak code and from what all I've read that would be a great start to fix this. Note truck runs great, haven't noticed any power issues.

My 1997 has Mazda 626 power seats swapped in from the 98-02 years. Of course, this has made finding that trim difficult to replace!
    Nice truck!

Check under bed liner for rust in bed. My 03 has had a camper top since 05 and I never thought of the bed rusting, but it did right over the exhaust.
