I'm just curious, after installing uconn & 7th injector, is the net power gain worth it?

My truck is 6300lbs all loaded up to wheel. Add the trailer, and I’ll take everything I can get.

When you asked the other day what you were missing, I completely forgot.

I went through the same thing. Having to order the harness separately is stupid, IMHO. $50 is a drop in the bucket, for me it’s not about the money. Just charge $1650 for the UCON and throw the harness in the box.

Hook the 7th to the circled wires.

I say for 2750 hundred bucks or so, I got the 7th,ucon,61lb injectors, and the 2.5 pulley.

I say worth it because it allowed me to run the 2.5 pulley which made the truck quite fun. But also the valvebody costs a decent amount too.

I guess I would say no regrets

Awesome. Thank you fo the wiring info. That will save me a lot of time.

I agree about the harness. At the very least put a bold note on the site that it’s needed. And if someone calls in, tell them they need it.

Also, put in the instructions what wires to connect it to. Although, it looks like the same color wires as the inj harness.

Its the same with the urd header. Didnt know 02 extension harness was necessary. Had to order it afterwards.

so i'm trying to figure out if doing all this extra work will be substantial or Minimal vs cost & time?

HPT/justDSM tuned factory ecu, URD Headers, JFR Y-Pipe/l 3" exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Maggy SC (JFR ported), JFR ported lower intake manifold, 76mm tb, 2.5 pulley, 640cc injectors, CSF Radiator, custom electric fan wit Autocoolguy controller, JFR SC pulley wrap mod
It depends on what you have now vs what your expectations are. You have a supercharger? If so do you have the TRD tune? What size pulley? You will want a stock ecu if you get the ucon. It works better. You don't need the 7th.
You can do ucon, 2.5 quick change pulley, 61lb injectors, and leave stock tb it will have a lot of power.

Go in phases. Start with the ucon, or OVtune if you dont want to run the 7th.

The UCON does come with exhaust cam gears and thermostat. No valve gaskets.

I ended up getting new OEM valve gaskets, plenum/intake manifold gasket, and TB gasket. Didn’t want to take any chances having leaks after spending all that money on everything else.
