Here's a little snippit from the SM ref the low pressure fuel pump:

The days of a simple mechanical or even basic DC electric fuel pump are long gone lol.

Hardware inconsistencies? Like computing/control hardware or engine/transmission hardware?

An old engineer used to tell me, no two machines are identical. You and your siblings came out of the same factory (your parents), neither are alike.

I have a 2016 and have had zero issues related to anything mentioned here and I run my truck every day. Just hit 30k. Running 87 tune and love it. Does anyone think these issues are more in the 2017 and/or 2018 models?

Only had about 30 miles on the tune, did it yesterday. What I meant to say is I have never had any issues like this ever on the stock tune. The 87 tune feels awesome and my idle sits at 600-650 rpms

I've noticed a few if these issues but only after I got the lift and bigger tires. The biggest issue is more on the transmission

What prompted you to get the tune?

For those looking for a cheap, functional tuning laptop... I picked up one of these yesterday (only $149 in store) and got everything set up on this this morning. More than adequate to run flashes and TechStream - took me about 45 mins to get everything loaded (drivers, PCM flash, turn off all the virus mess, and install TechStream). Reclaiming my MacBook for work and media ;)

I will be posting in the review thread once I drive 5 hours back home from Illinois. I am so happy with the 91 tune. I can not thank @OVTune enough. It’s so nice to be able to drive 75+ on the parkway without any shifting other than really big hills. The truck just cruises and is so smooth. I feel so much more comfortable merging and passing now. I know the power is there when I need it. I think something that helped is I already had my truck warmed up before flashing and then I let it run for 15 minuets after flashing. I could be wrong but it seemed to make sense that it would help with the idle relearn.

Absolutely - next time you do a COLD start probably good to let it idle for a bit so it can relearn cold idle as well. Enjoy your drive!

Hey @OVTune, when are the revisions being released? Also will it only include the cold idle surging or will there be other things updated/fixed?

I bought the exact same machine for the same price. Works fine for the time, it’s nice knowing it has never downloaded anything else :spy:
