Thank you! Do you know if the 96-02 clocksprings come in different styles - cc vs. no cc?

Thanks! Those are just the factory flares with part of the front liner trimmed out and the pinch weld smashed in. Still rubs a touch but not to terrible.

That was just outside of Lebanon at McDowell Creek. Another option outside of Albany is Snow Peak. Neither one is to terribly far. Shotgun creek north of Eugene has lots of places to explore also.

You can just get the TPS and install it on your throttle body too. That is what I did.

Around here Tacomas are just frames by the time they get to the yard. If you go on pick and pulls website there isn't one single Tacoma in 30+ miles of me. It sucks. But if you pull a few you could sell them on b/s/t on here and make a few bucks..

Day 2: "I Really Like Your Rear End"

... It was at this point that things got a little ... weird.
We couldn't see the two of them, so who really knows what was going on,
but the chatter over the CB was striking enough that I transcribed it
word for word on the spot, at 10:04am Saturday morning:

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
Ditto, I have some practice at work but even after buying one, you have to pay the electric company to come wire your shop to 220 and depending on where you are that’s not cheap either.

Got the LCA bushings swapped out with replacement Whitelines and also a brand new OEM steering rack installed. It was a huge effort with several challenges. I sure hope no 1st genner in the Seattle metro needs cam bolts and sleeves soon because we had to round up all of them in the area because all of mine were frozen. Sawzall blades and cutting wheels were employed.

A big thanks to Zane @Speedytech7 and Dan @turbodb for their time and all their help and expertise and to Dan @drr for the use of his shop and the huge effort in overcoming all of the challenges. Thanks much guys.

I went and put gas in it. Averaging 17 mpg, no too shabby.
