They are the Tacoma of writing instruments.

I’ve got the u-bolts covered, ordered them already. Just need the springs. Something that can handle the normal weight I’ve added, cap + Drawers(200lbs) + my daily equipment + spuratic additional weight

I crushed the current stuff I’ve got.. (the FJ add a leaf thing)

So.. I was up pretty late last night. Fire company banquet. No intention of getting to the truck today at that point. I was in more need of a recovery night/ day then I care to admit.

Kyle, my best friends fiancé demanded me to get my ass outta bed today.
For those that don’t know, my best friends dad, is pretty much my dad, has been in and out of the hospital the last month or so. We almost lost him and now it’s a complete turn around

@HomerTaco took care of getting my belt, and try as I might, I just kept missing @TOYTONKA to get the alternator and belt swapped. (Very appreciative to both of them)

Back to Kyle getting my ass out of bed via having a thicker, more stubborn head then mine.

So. I drag my ass outta bed, meet Kyle at his shop, and next thing I know we’re elbow deep in swapping everything out. (I thought we were doing something completely different when I got there).

While we were grabbing everything he spotted my ditch lights.... you see where this is going? Good.

I learned how to wire today. It got weird.

Haha, he came over and started laughing. It was much more comfortable on my back and knee doing that then twisting with both feet on the floor.

He is. Asshole threatened to call Rebecca (best friend) and tell her. It was more so fear of her wrath that got me moving.

Hello tax return!

Replacement tail lights ordered, Timbrens ordered as well.
I can handle the tail lights on my own, those will likely go on as soon as they arrive. Just need to figure out the Dakars and where to get them from.

Given that I've hauled some significant fire equipment on it already, I am more then happy with it, the deck itself holds up 2000lbs. Each drawer holds 200lbs, which is key for me given the amount of rescue equipment I carry. The weight adds up pretty quick. It is worth the money I will tell you that, I'm excited to use it through hunting season and see just how water proof it is. There will be more written on it as I get to use it more and additional photographs as well.

 

... the power supply wires are holding them in.. plastic tabs broke.
