First things first, that is an awesome truck. Second, I'd like to ask for your impression of the ARB bumper. I've been going back and forth on whether to spend the chunk of change to get one--I don't where you found one for so cheap, but I can't find one for less than $750 before tax--or build a tube-bumper myself in the interest of an improved approach angle. Have you ever found yourself dragging that Aussie unit?

i like the black wheels too...and its weird seeing my truck without them now...the ivans may get powdercoated one day :D

thanks guys...i like my sliders a whole bunch too...i wasnt really a fan of the typical assembly line sliders i was seeing...plus no one offered xcab protection without charging me an arm and a leg

these are designed and built by me and unbreakable fab in lenoir nc...he's already planning my trucks progress 2 years down the road

the welds look ugly but they hold up just fine...building them was a great learning process for me too!

I've found that when I dont have money to actually DO stuff to my truck...i plan stuff to do for when I have the spare cash to drop on parts etc

Aside from my fab guy's plans for cutting the truck up...i also plan to eventually run a dual battery setup and a winch...

I happened to be on the phone with my dad today discussing him fixing my old broke ass laptop and got to thinking that itd be pretty cool to put that in there with some sort of wireless internet card and a whole buncha maps and a gps antenna...mount it up front with a ram mount...i have a little garmin gps...but sometimes that just dont cut it for me and it has no idea where im at and gets confused if i leave the road...having downloaded sat images + gps antenna would be incredibly helpful in the event i get lost in the woods

i also happen to own a handy little device known as a trackstick. It mounts to a vehicle via a magnet and turns on with vibration and tracks your gps coordinates as you move and then you can download them to Google Earth and track where you've been

i could combo the 2 and find my way back out of the woods...best part is the majority of the expense is already in my possession (laptop and trackstick) plus i already have a ac power converter so I can run the laptop using my truck's battery (where a dual would be handy when im not winching) Id really only need to purchase the gps antenna/software and a ram mount. the wireless internet of course would be optional provided im able to download sat images of the area i'll be before actually setting out onto a trail

As said before, love the sliders. Believe it or not, I also love how disgusting the interior is......makes me feel less ashamed of my own!

Perhaps we should have a "dirty interior showoff thread"? Mines covered in dirt, trash, my camo jacket and some other random shit that I don't know how it got in there....

Yeah, if only there was a way to include the smell. Mine's not actually too bad right now, but there are some pictures in my album that show it being nasty.

Very nice, although that color red would look good with some Gamecocks on it, thank goodness they don't make orange ones !!!
