I'm finally back from Europe and my Pelfreybilt skids showed up at SDHQ while I was gone. So, I picked them up on Friday and stopped by @JerryTaco's place on my way home for a quick install. Thanks Brah!!

Did you do anything with the exhaust? It looks like you might have raised it an inch or two.

Have you ever notice your OEM skid plate vibrating or causing any annoying noises when hitting big holes? Mine does and have been thinking about replacing it something thicker that wont vibrate. Mine has a big dent which may be affecting fitment too?

No, we didn't do anything with the exhaust. It still sticks down a little but I think the angle of the picture makes it look tucked in there.

Hey man! No, I never noticed any vibrating or anything from the OEM skid plates. I don't think they qualify as skid plates! haha. Since you have a big dent in your OEMs, (which wouldn't be hard to do by the way) it may have bent the edges close to another piece of metal somewhere. I would check the edges of the IFS and see if it's close to anything else that might make it rattle when you hit a hard bump. If so, just grab the edge and pull it away from whatever it might be. They're super flimsy, therefore very easy to bend. When mine came off, I literally bent them up by hand (and foot) to fit in the box my Pelfreybilt came in. I would just go with something thicker dude, these things are solid!! And they look way better!!

@Lord Humongous you should definitely ditch those tin foil factory "skids" and get at least an Aluminum IFS skid. Definitely worth the money for sure.

Thanks! Mine definatley doesn't fit right anymore and it starting to vibrate like a tuning fork (bolts are tight). Do you know if the pelfrey skid works with the 1" diff drop? I think I've read the RCI one does. I like the weight savings of aluminum. Any expierence as far as how aluminum holds up?
