    I think it really depends on your coil rate and your driving style if you will like it or not. Pros for me is a smoother ride over bumps, better articulation of the front suspension, and one less bushing set to replace as needed. Dont really have any cons yet and I’ve done freeway, curvey back roads, off-road, gravel roads, and city driving.

    I literally just cleaned it about an hour before I installed the CAI and took this picture. It was thrashed from the desert yesterday.

    Hahaha. I recently just started to clean mine.
    Me and my buddy use diluted simple green and a power washer on a low setting to clean ours. We use a low setting to prevent blasting water into electrical components. We hit plaster city all day yesterday and had a cleaning party today. It was super windy and the dust was insane. Sand EVERYWHERE.

    I took mine off as well and i can’t tell a big difference other than a smoother ride, try it out if you don’t like it put it back on. I wish i woulda done it sooner though, does fine on curvy roads as well as the highway

    Does simple green not affect belts and gaskets? That the main reason i haven't used a degreaser yet

    Spring rate and suspension matter a good bit like @LukeCC said. I didn't even realize mine wasn't on when I bought the truck and I went to remove it and realized the first owner already got rid of it. I drive a lot on the highway and have zero issue with how it drives. I can tell I do have more body roll but the spring rate helps combat that. I tow pretty often as well and have never felt like I needed the sway bar.

    It seems like cleaning the engine bay is a topic that’s a bit controversial. Hence the reason why I waiting so long before I finally just did it. My buddy has been doing it for years on his first gen tundra using diluted simple green and a power washer with no ill effect so I jumped on board. But I honestly couldn’t tell you with any certainty what kind of effect it had on gaskets or belts. I would imagine us watering it down makes it not so chemically harsh on those areas.

    How about when you off-road? Any negative effect there?

    @LukeCC @tacomatyler sorry for the tag M3bassman
    Lots of chit chat about sway bars, Seems to always come up in topic. The one without the sway bar is cycling suspension instead of rolling the body.

    Quick question, I was wondering if the angle of my upper control arm is acceptable or not. (Yeah I know about my CV boots, diff drop is on order)0325182040.jpg 0325182040a.jpg

    Diff drop isn't going to help those CVs. you need to lower your lift.

    UCA looks in pain as well.

    not sure on the specs of that coil.

    but 5100s have 0'' and 1.5'' and 2.5'' settings.

    They are also brand new coils.

    I'd set them a 0 for now. let them settle a bit. Then try 1.5'' again later.
