King, Bilstein, or Fox shocks?

I'm just doing a little research on shocks for a 3 inch lift. Looking for opinions on what shocks offer a better ride without having to replace things like UCAs and such.

 

Kings.

But the answer is Fox. Just don't have your resi hose snap... That sucks.

 

I'm talking mostly road use with the idea that I will eventually start to do some light offroading

 

Excellent article on why bilstein is what 90% of people will ever need in their lifetime.

When you need bigger shocks you'll know it and won't be asking the internet imho.

I'm accustomed to drag shocks, not offroading/truck shocks which is why I'm asking

 

If you're 90% road use fox and Kings are overkill. If you're deadset on them, looks at Fox 2.0s with no resis or any fanciness. They're pretty affordable and will still be an improvement for you.

In general though, you're probably best off with 5100s on all 4 corners. Cheap, easy, people seem to like them. (They're the big brother of the stock OR shocks)

 

It's just the bed has always been stiff so I'm looking at shocks with adjustable compression and dampening to truly find the ride comfort I'm looking for

 

And yes I know the bed is stiff because there's no weight, that's another thing I'm looking in to

If you want to waste money, pick your color and buy king or fox.
