Finally bit the bullet and ordered a canopy.

Anyone have any tips on how to secure floor mats? I have the OEM rubber mats, but the passenger front keeps sliding forward. Drives me bonkers.

 

Is that dark gray with light gray insert?

 

I just put a strip or 2 of heavy duty velcro...only one side of it(the one that sticks to the carpet) on the bottom of the floor mat...worked perfectly

 

Tuck the part of the mat, that was made to go over the door panel trim, underneath it instead. You can un clip the trim, slide the mat in place, re apply the trim. My hasn’t moved since. I also did this on my driver side.

I’m just about to order some of those letter inserts. Were they hard to remove? Why did you remove them? Did they fade or wear out?

 

I used a rotating head rivet gun from HD. Still very tough to do. The rotating head helps to change the angle of attack. More useful in the hood rivets.

 

Yes...a great contrast for the silver.

I’m not into the emblems but the letters look great, they’re already there on the tailgate. I’m all about keeping the stock look.

Except plastic bumpers.
