I was kind of disappointed in Ryan Kesler when didn't take a wack at Laine's ankle, but he totally redeemed himself when Armia's stick came 6" from his face and his neck snapped back like when JFK was shot.

Lots of local talk about the Flames canning their coaching staff after game 82. I don't see how that will fix things. Arguably the Flames have the best top 6 D in the league and a decent forward lineup. Their goaltending last year was bad but otherwise hasn't been an issue except when their number one is out. While it's easy to blame the coaches and say someone else could get more out of the roster I think they need to look at ditching Hamilton. The guy is a future cap mistake and a current dud. He could still be worth a veteran presence and maybe a decent prospect even though two teams would of thrown him out by that point. Clearly this player mix hasn't worked under two different coaching staffs and I doubt the third go around will be any different without dumping a few players.
