Yesterday I was doing dump runs for a friend. A local mattress company was dumping recycled mattresses.

One got away from them and did this.

Shit happens.

I actually bumped into a childhood classmate while I was there. Your mom was helpful and charming. The dog food is scrumptious(according to Lulugirl) and merriment was had by all. Time for a yelp review...

 

Any plovers rolling around in all that sand in the back of your van? Seriously, was this the number one subject round the ol campfire on your trip? I’m curious. It would be a shame to see Pismo close for good to the off-road community.

 

We all let out an expletive filled rant revolving the elderly on the Mesa and that damn plover.

Took it to my buddies shop. They did a diagnostic. Its actually the tps. But on the 03-04, you have to swap the whole tb

 

TPS is a more likely suspect than a Throttlebody Glad it ilcan be replaced for less that a few bills

 

That sucks, I went with a used one for $55 and it worked for me. I’d check out rancho and see what they have.

 

What do you doods use to pump tranny or diff fluids? I can't seem to find a pump that doesn't leak like a sifter.

Oh. I didnt relay that correctly. So its the tps. But on my rig (03,04) the whole throttlebody has to be replaced. You cant just replace the sensor. So yea, 1k new
