It's like I said on the turd gen forum no one walks into the Toyota dealer looking for a SR unless they're the fleet manger for Orkin or under 24

Any VAG product. A VW product will keep a tech's family of six well fed and with no less than two vacations a year. It is recommended that the wife take out a healthy life insurance policy as alcoholism is common place.

Unreal. The last VW product I owned was a nightmare. Cut my losses and moved on.

Someone either became trapped, or broke their nose/ribs/teeth... I am no physicist (did I spell that right?), but I would pass.

Most people I know who have had a VW car have either smashed the oil pan or hydrolocked the engine.

Can confirm. My buddy killed his oil pan on his VW from a rock sitting on a dirt road Lol

Ha nephew killed his that way. Funny how many FWD cars there are and it seems like VW is the only one I hear of happening to on a regular basis.

Most people I know who've had a VW have also decided that one was enough.

What's odd is that VW owns Porsche, but Porsches can actually be reliable.

    But when they do break....hoooooweeeeeeee.

I had a similar story. I had a 2014 Passat TDI. In the 3 years and 80K miles I owned it, it blew the turbo twice (at 7,000 and again at 75,000 miles), and the heater core went out at around 40K miles. Those were the major issues. It also had small issues, such as the drivers window control button going out.

Thankfully for me, I was able to sell it back as part of the "dieselgate" emissions scandal, and used that money to buy my Taco :D

How do you know it’s the wet season in Australia? Because muppets go to Port Douglas and end up doing stupid crap like this.
