I like the idea of this, and the builds I have read about them. While I love building equally to driving I wanna not have to fix hacks., I do like that this is more feasable in my garage and i can still make tweaks etc to my own liking. And it was originally set up for LS.....

Hendrix is nice. Very basic and clean, not the most stylish.

I'm a fan of the Ibex stuff, especially with all the accessories. @snowtank 's neighbor had a kit for sale 6 months ago or so.

    I'd love a Bomber :bananadance:

Jimmys is stylish and stout. Quality is questionable based on some stories I've heard.

Bent Fab - AZ or KY? Plenty of nice ideas from either location.

He was pushing it pretty hard on FB back when he had it.

One piece of advice to pass along from mine...

Modding a vehicle is easy. All the systems are there and functional while you change 1 or 2 at a time.

Building a buggy type vehicle is hard. Every system is from scratch. Chassis and Drivetrain are easy. Suspension is ok. But steering is from scratch. Brakes are from scratch. Fuel. Cooling. Controls. Wiring. Seating. Storage. Lighting. "Body". All need their spot and have to work together.

Yeah. I totally can understand and see that. It definately will take me a few years to build once i get started. I'm in no rush.... And wanna give it a shot. Ive done lots of suspensions, motors(building myself), paint on cars, etc... And I wanna give a buggy a try someday if the cards fall in place and i come across one.

I have thought about buying one, tearing it down and just rebuilding all the pieces and new powder for frame etc....

I can agree with this 100% after do the back half on my truck and I didnt have to deal with 1/4 of a full build like that. Mine was mostly suspension but still had to do a lot to fuel, brakes, wiring, etc. Still a massive amount of planning that people don't realize goes into a ground up build, like you said frame and suspension are actually relatively easy compared to every single little detail that has to work in harmony. One little change affects ten other items that you thought you already had figured out

I bet they mixed up the interior photos with the wrong exterior photos.

Couldn't be too hard to do though. They make the DCSB manual, so all the interior stuff would be the same on the DCLB. Seems like you'd just need longer/shorter driveshafts, depending on the length difference of the automatic transmission.
