I love my TRD Sport seats, I am in the process of at least mounting the drivers seat on a 4runner power seat base so I can make it a power seat.

My back starts to hurt after driving in most cars for an hour, but my TRD seats have cured that :)

You have the TRD seats. You will not find a non-SR5 TRD truck.

my vote is for the TRD seats. The side bolsters are much more supportive and the cussioning itself is a little more firm. That's what i like, but to each his own!

    those look so sick...:D...

how did they splice the wiring for the air bag sensors for the driver and front passenger seats? cause its a weight pressure sensor that activate the airbag sensor...I still want to keep that feature for my truck...

Very good question - right now it is on. I am thinking about putting the airbags in the side bolster and a little exacto knike slits to allow the airbags to work with them. If anyone has a work around I would love to know. I know the option is a little pricey but I should have gotten the lumbar on the passenger side too! - During long trips it's nice to change it up on my back - a small pillow would be a cheap alternative too. - I am not complaining about the seats - I am just a bit picky about comfort - I guess it comes from age - when I was younger riding cafe bikes I never thought about comfort - Now I focus on it!!! :D

You got the ARB? How is that working out for you? I was looking into it and couldn't find anyone who would recommend it because everyone said that the front driveline couldn't handle it.

I have the "lifetime" warranty and just opted out of it to avoid the trouble. I would like to be able to lock it up though. Truck does awesome off road and the rr locker is the sh&@, I can only imagine how much better it'd be with a front locker!

Front Drive Line can't handle it? I haven't had any problem with that at all. If someone is saying that they probably are not listening to what the steering feedback is telling them. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. I don't need it that often, when I do, it is nice to go forward instead of reverse. :)

Lifetime Warranty - I have a 5 year from the guy that built it (ECGS)

Right now I have a bad solinoid but that should be replaced soon. ( Even still I can still use the locker if I needed to.)

I just bought a Prerunner DC with SR5 package. The only thing in the TRD package that interested me was the seats, and I didn't want the stiffer TRD suspension and extra $1500 or so cost.

To get to a TRD seat, can the seat covers be replaced, or does the entire seat need to be replaced.

    Thanks, Brian

the seats are completely different. You'll need to get the TRD specific seats.

Huh, aren't "sport" seats in a 4000 lb truck with 200 & change HP an oxy-moron? Just how much cornering is everyone doing in their tacos for sport seats to make a difference?
