It’s a FANTASTIC place for kids and to just let loose and chill. The last time we were there it had rained several days ahead, and while we were there, and was also following Hurricane Irene

Even the mat under the canopy didn’t help, the dog was miserable, nowhere dry to lay down

That water trough you see in the background is the road for the next row of camp sites

Not trying to put a damper on your trip, just go prepared, we weren’t, but then we weren’t expecting this sort of water park either.
Hopefully they’ve gotten the drainage figured out.

 

Yikes! We have nearly the same camper, the Rockwood 2280. Doesn't have that storage up front. We definately will be miserable if it rains the whole time. That happened to us one weekend with a four year old at the time.

We were in Charleston during Irene. That was kinda neat.

 

We were there almost a year after Irene, they built bungalows on stilts right in front of the play area in the year since we had been there previous ( we were just a row from the play area the first 2 Trips there, PERFECT, you could watch the kid and not have to actually deal,with the rest of the monsters...eh...kids)
Can’t do that anymore, of course they had rebuilt the pool and main house at the front over that year as well. They should,have worked on drainage.
We loved the place, until the rain and no drain. The kid was pretty much indifferent....

Did a little jerry riggin for a sun shield on the garage door sensor lol. Also cleaned off this bench, put a table top on it, and setup the arcade.

I'm sitting at the dealer waiting for the inspection now. I read through the class action lawsuit last night and I may be screwed getting a new frame idk hopefully I'll know soon.

Hope they can get me a frame and fixed before AOP or if they won't pay for a new frame I can replate it or something before then

 

@tacopaulo did you ever get your frame inspected?

 

The class action described either 12 yrs from original purchase date or 1 yr from when court finalized which was may 2017. So older trucks need them done now!!!

 

Why would you be screwed? You can fit a small 10yo kid thru your frame!

 

@voz @mrbedgood you two old school import guys will like my new purchase. Out of over 60-70 cars been through in my life.my third car I owned and my first stick, the car that got me into work on cars. 91 white CRX si. Been looking for while for a solid body with correct si interior and finally found one!! And it is now mine

 

Going to be lifted soon is my guess
