Dam glad you are ok. Ill have to take your advice . I am a two bites and swallow. A few years ago I had a tortltor chips get stuck in my wind pipe. It would not budget and it hurt like hell. I used my thumb to press below my Adams apple until the chip broke and went down. My wife asked me what happened? With tears in my eyes and a raspy voice I replied "who says you can't put a triangle peg in a square hole cough cough". Ever since I chew four times then swallow.

Aftermarket door from Cajun Bandit. The door I had was cheap aluminum that never sealed. I told Weber about it and they were pretty upset and offered a new door from them. I passed and simply said I just was making them aware. This new door is stainless steal so not only does it not leak but it retains a lot more heat. Worth the money I spent on it for sure.

Damn Curt glad your OK and that everything "came out OK". And thanks for the Monday morning chuckle, I'm with you on the alternatives

I have the Cajun Bandit door and the damn thing is warped worse than the OEM one. Still have it one of these days I will make a jig to bend it in place to fit. It is a stout piece of metal and my attempts so far have been futile it springs back anytime I get even close to fitting. In the meantime it was easy enough to bend the OEM one to fit. Didn't stop me from getting the CB wheel and lock kit, stacker, and rotisserie which are all precision fit and well made. I'll get that damn door to fit yet.

That was my first thought, until figured out how much the damn thing weighed and cost of shipping ouch! Then again that is what I paid for, heavy duty :)

They wouldn’t offer free shipping on returns? Bring it to the local fab shop and tell them the amount of adjusting you need and they should do it with very little charge.
