This is probably a pretty stupid question, put can I razor blade off a sticker in my back glass even if the glass is tinted. I didn't know if the tint would get scratched or peeled because of the blade. Thanks alot

is the sticker on the inside or the outside glass? if its on the inside then NO. if its on the outside then yes. and to answer your question, yes you will scratch the tint if the sticker is on the inside.

If the sticker is stuck to the (aftermarket) tint, good luck getting it off. Over time the colors in the stickers fade into the tint. My old car had a window cling permanently stuck to the tint. Then I used a razor blade and effed the whole window cuz the dealer told me it was factory tint.

Factory tint is between layers of glass. Can't scratch it without breaking the glass first, but then scratched tint is the least of your worries. Scrape away.

I did not want to start a new thread, but this is a similar topic so...

The 'Limited' decals on the pillar by the extended cab on my truck have the finish flaked off in a few places. I ordered some new ones for $15 or so and I am wondering how I get off the old ones... Should I apply heat and then use fishing wire?

    Any other suggestions?

yep you got er. put a hair dryer to it about a minute is long enough then start from an edge of the badge with your fishing line and kind of saw back and forth. ya may need to reheat as you work the badge off. also ya may need to use a new piece of line, itll get pretty gunked up.
