    I had an '03 1300:

    upload_2018-3-26_9-18-26.jpg

But sold that years ago when I picked up a new '07 Yamaha FJR1300. Last year, I added a new '16 Honda Goldwing F6B:

    upload_2018-3-26_9-19-52.jpg

I'll probably be on the FJR for the run to Green's; need that top case for the sausage, salsa, jams, etc... that I'll be buying in the store!

Nice! How big is the tank on that? I think the early ones had a pretty tiny tank, but I've been told they fixed that.

    Morning guys and gals,

Just a check in and a bit of an update.

I maybe moving back to Washington to live with my mother.......yay 42 and I live with mom.......

For 2 years I have been trying like hell to find a livable wage job here and can't get more than 16 per hr or 30 bucks flat rate with a maximum week of 25 hrs.

I wish I knew how people do it out here.

I will let y'all know as things progress.

    This is FUBAR
The wife and kids thing is also part of this......for those that are not in the loop, she took off to Japan with my kids and since every one of them is a Japanese national or dual citizen.....I can do nothing without a HUGE legal bill to get the judgement which Japan will most likely refuse to honor....

I want to stay here, love Texas, but, can't get a decent pay job, can't afford to pay for a roof.......

Sorry about that Dennis. This place used to be affordable 20 years ago, but then the Californians started moving in and costs outpaced wages. There is supposedly a leveling going to happen, but I doubt it. When 1400 sq foot shitbox homes are going for $250K, the market is fucked up.

What part of Washington? I lived in Spokane 20 years ago and it wasn't as affordable as we thought it would be.

Anybody care to see the building that was imploded yesterday from the view of the Frost Bank tower on level 29? I took a video of it yesterday from my iPhone.

So that must be a '02 - '06; in '07, they bumped it to 5 gallons. There was one model that had the 5 in '06, (Street Rod), but for all intents and purposes, the 5 didn't come out until '07. There are aftermarket 5 gallons for the earlier models, but if it don't bother you, no need to fix. On putt around, Ride To Eat (RTE) rides, tank size isn't an issue. I ride with a lot of cruisers, and they're usually needing to get gas at 120 miles or so. When I'm soloing on a long trip, like out to the Smokies last September, it's nice to be on the FJR, which has about a 250 mile range. I do 5-600 mile days, and if you only have to stop for gas once or twice, you can get on down the road.

Ya that’s what I was used to 100-150 I’ve done a long ride 750ish in one day was brutal in the softtail. Best investment ever was a windshield I’ll be getting one for sure. Nothing set in stone trying to gather the funds for it right now going back n forth with CFO she said “if you didn’t redneck bling your truck you could afford it”. My reply was “it’s cool an protection if you ever wanna drive it” has not gone over well.:frusty:
