Once upon a time I had a Jeep then I grew up and bought a Truck.

I love Jeeps but would never want it for a daily driver. They have a horrible ride, get crappy gas mileage, have no power, no security I could go on and on. However if it were to be built to just go four wheeling it would be tuff to beat a Jeep.

See thats an automatic seller for me.
Well, right now I'm trying to find something that can get me through college and one more year of High School. I could care less about the ride. Its a Jeep, They've always been notorious for that. Gas mileage can't be worse than mine and not any worse than my moms Hummer.

That is sick. One rolled past us when we were doing the lights, and it looked pretty nice.

Yeah, I personally really like the new Jeeps and the old ones, they're just an American classic. They're just really sensitive as an off-road vehicle, IMO.

I do too. I always have. The Cherokee's are awesome vehicles. They can be sensitive your right, but if you just know what your doing, you shouldn't have many problems

The new V6 is a terrible replacement for the 4.0 I6. You'll be hating the power loss especially if you step up to 35's without a re-gear.

Well the way I look at it, I rarely haul, tow, and race(partly because thats dumb to do-What does it prove?)... I'll test drive another one sometime in the next week and look more at the power difference.

I test drove a 3.4L V6 on a 1st Gen... I didnt know that much difference- Except that it was a tad sluggish starting off.

The way I see it, more people are telling you to not get the jeep. I personally think you should just save up and keep going towards that LT Kit plan. Just my 2 cents.

Some people may not like the Jeep. Thats their opinion. I understand what everyone is saying though and I appreciate everyone's input, but this is for 4x4 and actually having room for more than just 2 people. Even my friends regular cab Colorado has more space.

I had 5 people ride around with me yesterday, I felt so bad that they were cramped due to my sub box.

I'm still going to do the LT kit, just not with my truck. Most likely I'll buy a real Beater truck and roll that....
