How long before there is no sheet metal left?

are you following something or just winging it, ive been wanting to do this but have been unsure about it. how are you going to prevent the cut ends from rusting?

 

Passenger front is cut. Drivers side is done, just flattening the pinch weld

Basically winging it, but i cut off 2" following some NJ guys. I lightly painted the edges, but also ordering some edge guard very soon

 

This is where you fucked up. Never follow NJ guys.

 

@fatfurious2 you have a brute force rear bumper right? what are you going to do when it comes to that are you trimming the bumper does the side protection get in the way, sorry for the 100 questions im about to pay for mine and now im wondering if i should mention doing this mod might be in the future.

Looks like a change in plans, move up my time table and probably sell sooner.

He as a sweet Xterra and is also a trail guide at Chaos Offroad park.
I invited him to the forum to join us on some future trail rides
and hopefully set something up at the park.

 

No rear leafs, was on my buy next list. Guess its going to wait awhile.

 

I mean if ur really impatient, just buy them give them to me for safe keeping.
