    i meant stock for a 4.7.

You can't remap a toyota ecu. Not possible.

Id high suggest not boost as the rods in a 4.7 suck ass.

supercharged 3.4l can hit almost 300hp if done right. turbo can hit a lot more. Not that its cheap to do.

Say I decide to pick up some new OME leaf springs + bushings for my truck and install them myself before this Friday (doing a 3 day long Mojave Rd trip through the desert)...how simple is the install? As straightforward as doing the rest of the suspension? Got all the necessary tools just trying to decide if this is something I can tackle on my own before Friday. I did the rest of my suspension no problem but haven't done my leafs yet.

Depends on whether the main eye and shackle pins are sized in the bushing sleeves. It's the difference between a 2hr job and a 5hr job that requires new parts. Gotta make sure you have all the new bushings and such before you start, ubolts as well.

Good to know, thanks...I talked a bit with Marie a little while back, I'll have to double check but I seem to remember she said I should be fine with the u-bolts I have now since I had to upgrade to longer ones for the 3 leaf AAL pack. Just need the bushings and I should probably get the extended brake lines since I neglected to do that back when I had the 3 leaf AALs installed

Did you get new OME greasable shackles? Or just new shackles in general. That cuts down on time, I'd buy two new main eye bolts too cause if you don't they'll be siezed haha.

Back when I did the 3 leaf AALs I just got those and the longer U-bolts, everything else is stock (except the shocks of course). Would be nice to have greaseable ones...since I want to get this done last minute I'm sort of at the mercy of whatever the local 4WP has in stock, which looks to just be the normal bushings and OME leaf packs.

I might just ride these AALs this weekend and do the new leafs afterward, I'm sure that after 3 days of hauling through the desert they're going to close to shot with the added weight I've got back there now (RTT mostly). I did order some Wheeler's superbumps for the rear that should be here tomorrow, so at least I'll have better bump stops lol.

Oh yeah those bushings were definitely bound up hard, it droops far better with no shocks in there, but still with three overloads it isn't easy to get any frown. That pic of Frank doesn't look like it has much if any frown to me. I don't suspect I'll have any binding issues with spherical bearings at either end. Maybe if I had Uber crazy droop numbers but I don't forsee that using stock location leafs haha

Wish I was readying for links..but not ready for that or stable enough. So i'll stick to the stock location leaf packs for now. I'll order some new custom ones and that'll last me a few years till the linking happens.

Ah. I see now. I ran across a similar product looking for parts to use for a over-the-cap rack idea. Found a site that sold hand railing parts, but I guess you'd find similar products anytime you need to connect tubes.
