Nope. I know and follow all the fishing laws lol. Even if we did.. 2 people x 5 fish a day + 3 days = 30 fish.

Photo (actually a framed print of the photo) taken at my dad's local recreation center in San Diego - the Osprey is huge and built a huge nest atop the outdoor lighting structure, bringing home her latest meal:Osprey.jpg

I love seeing the Osprey and Bald eagles catch fish, different techniques but both are very effective predators!

Completely agree and actually take it one step further. I try my best to not even remove a fish from the water or even take pics if I plan on releasing. Imagine running a mile and submerging your head underwater when finished. Most fish are coated in a slime/mucus membrane that they use for their immune system etc. Handling the fish rids them if this membrane and can harm them, even in a net (and yes, I promote knotless nets).

If you plan on keeping fish, by all means, give 'em the wood shampoo. Here in the PNW, we have to carefully ID and release many wild/native fish and in many situations it is illegal to handle or remove a fish from the water if the fish is not legal to keep. I hate it when I see people catch a huge native chinook, drag it through the sand/rocks, grab it by the gills and take pictures of it for 15 minutes and then wonder why it doesn't swim away. Sorry, rant over.
