A number of issues were identified and logged with techstream over the last week or so. If there's any issue out there related to M/T driveability, my truck likely has it lol. Anyway, here's what I'm aware of:

1. Stuttering, primarily in the 2000-3000rpm band, part throttle -Fixed;
2. RPM instability when holding the throttle steady - Fixed (although I had a really mild instance of it happen to me yesterday, but not all the time);
3. Throttle tip in weirdness. As soon as you breathe on the throttle it would jump from idle right up to 1000 rpm or more, then settle back and start bumping up and down (see #2). Super annoying at low speed, and especially so in 4lo - Fixed

#3 required Mat to make a significant change to the throttle maps/logic. The resulting test tune gave a nice linear throttle with good fine control off idle on up. The only drawback was it seemed to be down a bit in power on the highway, but remember that the file itself was not a completely optimised tune. I hoping the power is back in the upcoming release!

I also think that the fix for #3 may have made it's way over to the A/T tune in some form, judging by Mat's posts. Anyway, we'll know shortly!

Edit: For 1.03B pilots W/O issues - don't get your panties in a twist, you can always run your current file. This ain't intended as a granny tune.

yeah i forgot to mention that, and yesterday, for the very first time, i had that. i released the clutch, tipped in the throttle, and the truck bucked like i dropped the clutch at wot... WTF? that's what got me thinking something's up.

 

Meh. Yes, it's obviously a concern, and yet I think that it's also whatever at this point since Mat is expected to release an update today. Let us know if it fixes your issues. I am sure the others will do so as well

 

So I out nearly 1k miles on test tune 1. I wish I could have experienced test tune 2 while in Moab, but it just was not in the cards. So, I think I'm going to try test tune 2 latter today after I get my truck cleaned out a little LOL

 

Update on towing with 1.03c. Great fuel mileage and plenty of power to do the job. Towed a 86 x-cab Toyota on my car hauler from a friend’s Corsicana to my cousin Houston, TX via I-45. Truck did great and fuel mileage was a consistent 13.1 mpg hand calculated. Before the tune I would have gotten 11 mpg at best with that load +/- 5100#.
