You'll have to swap the tailshaft housing as well as tear the trans down and swap the output shaft I believe. The output shafts are different from 2wd to 4wd.

    Yes, the output shaft.
If the sale is just for the trans, I'll probably pass it up, not sure. Would be nice to have the 4x4 trans and just bolt it up. I'm hoping that the tcase isn't split from the trans and there's just a mistake in the description. But at 55kmiles, that's a steal if it's both.

Toyota has revised door weather strips because of that issue. They politely declined to fix mine 200 miles past the end of the 3/36 warranty. Being perfectly honest it was the straw that broke the camels back, I said fuck my 2nd gen on that day and im on the hunt for another 1st gen now.

Ya. They never made a manual 1st gen doublecab, unfortunately. There's a few people on here that have converted to manual. @SafetyDang for one off the top of my head. Super clean build.

I'll need about everything for the front end. Spindles, hubs, crossmember, front diff, etc, etc.
    But it's a starting point.

Yea, not a problem. I could get Easley 4x4 to receive it, Toyota of Easley or Eddy probably wouldn't mind.

Thanks Tim. Finally signed up for an acct. Didn't want to. Made contact with the guy but I don't think it's both the trans and tcase. Think it's just the trans.

Good ole swing shift... I've been doing 1900 to 0730 for a year now. The hospital I work at doesn't do swing shift, it's a system where you gotta pay your dues on nights and then hope to get switched to days after 1 to 2 years. But that means there's always problems with not having enough experienced nurses on nights because people are constantly leaving after the mandatory one year mark because they don't want to wait any longer. I'm trying to figure out if I should take my chances or just move to a different unit

I don't want to get into the sas right now.
All the holes are drilled and tapped already in the pre runner for a 4x4 conversion. If I can do a strait swap, I better collect parts while I have a little extra scratch from taxes left over.
