Well, I think I finally figured this damn spacer thing out. Why the hell you put it there is beyond me, much harder to install it.
    IMG_0272.jpg

    :spy: :luvya:

Prior to adding the spacer, the Driver Front was a whole 1" lower than the Passenger Front. I (naturally) forgot to get a baseline right before doing the install, but I do have my measurements from when the OME lift went on back in May 2014.
So, original "post lift" figures from 5/2014. Truck had a Weather Guard tool box with stuff in it, estimated weight of 100 lbs.
DF: 22-1/4" PF: 23-0". Difference of 3/4" side to side (GDF Taco Lean!!!!)
DR: 24-1/2" PR: 24-1/2". Difference 0" side to side.

New numbers, with tool box replaced by a canopy, bed platform, plus all the stuff from the tool box, plus even more crap......
DF: 23-3/8" PF: 23-1/2". Difference of 1/8" side to side. +1-1/8" DF and +1/2" PF
DR: 24-1/2" PR: 23-1/2". Difference 0" side to side. -1/2" DR and PR, probably from sag and extra weight. VERY happy with just a lost 1/2" over nearly 4 years and more weight in the back......

    NO MORE TACO LEAN!!!!! :bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadance::bananadead:

1/2" spacer raised the DF 1-1/8" from the original lift. How spacers defy the laws of physics I don't know. Must be common core math or something, where 1/2" = 1 1/8"

Thanks again @Juforrest for the spacer and nuts (even with the re-machining!)

... It was at this point that things got a little ... weird.
We couldn't see the two of them, so who really knows what was going on,
but the chatter over the CB was striking enough that I transcribed it
word for word on the spot, at 10:04am Saturday morning:

I've got nothing going on, so I am listening.

Color me impressed. I figured Overlandbound_fake would just be yelling and screaming, cussing, and trying to troll.

I enjoy the fixed one I have used, and the hand held are great. I have tried other hand held brands and they didn't pickup and hold sattalites as well.

Does anyone know if a BNC connector has benefits over a use. Looking for mine since I am finally installing it in the tacoma.

@twalchlii1 Hey Tom, have you seen a good amount of oil on the shafts and body (around the adjusters) of your BP-51s? I'll post some pictures tomorrow afternoon. I might have to have Mule take a look at them. I also might dial the coils down a bit. Waiting to see how much the winch and mount might do the job. As it is, I have to schedule a CV boot replacement this week.

I didn't know Mule was moving. Anything special on the 7th i.e. sales? I'm at work and have no phone signal, IS blocks Mule's site as 'Uncatagorized' and all the photos on TW are blocked!

That's what I was thinking. I'm going to call Dana tomorrow and send her some photos.

I'm wondering if I should be using limiting straps? An input on this?

Unbolt your lower shock mount and let the suspension droop. Is the mount lower than the shock? If so, your shock is the limiting factor and should be strapped.

Day 3: Are We Stuck in The Maze?

...as I poked my head out the tent, I noticed that not only was it windy,
but there was just a bit of snow falling - a sure sign that there'd be
no sunrise to capture. "Oh well, I thought - I got a couple good ones
already this trip, I'll get another hour or so of sleep and hopefully
the snow will have stopped when we get up."

    Oh, was I wrong.
