@EatSleepTacos just went to STT Pros from ST Maxx. My truck is my DD so I appreciate the all terrains vs a MT. Had Maxxis Bighorn MTs before, and they were not good for DD. Also not E rated.

out of curiousity whats your average mpg? cause i cant imagine a 34 being much different than a 35. im almost always consistently at 13 with stock gearing. highway or city doesnt matter.

but it does suck having that drive for hours to get anywhere. #kansasproblems

I don’t exactly know cuz I never pinpointed it, but we can’t even compare.. I’m sure my truck configuration is different than yours. I got weighed once on a trip fully loaded with gear at 7200lbs. So I’m just comparing to myself that 34s on my truck HAVE to be more efficient even in the slightest compared to 35s on my truck. I’m no scientist tho..

    Thanks!

And Damn! Didn’t know the 17” wheel was the only option for Cooper ST’s

I’m sticking with 16” wheels, so I need to look for a similar 34” option.

Yea you right lol. I won’t notice it much but if the benefit is there it helps in the long run.

So here’s some number to reference for anyone that like to crunch numbers..

The only other 34” tire I know of is the BFG K02 34/10.5/17

    But that’s obviously a 17 also..

Looks like the 35’s in both 17 and 16” wheels are just a half inch taller than the 34’s.

Edits: I’m guessing it’s the 1.5” additional less width of these 35” 34” tires (compared to the 35’s 34’s) that make it easier to mount up without major surgery.

Weight difference appears minimal across all three tire sizes.

    I might go with the 16” 35’s because I like the Cooper’s a lot.

Good deal. I love the maxxs aswell. I don’t see myself going a different route unless Cooper comes out with an even better AT. But why reinvent the wheel. I’m also a Cooper fan boy now..

That’s why it was so easy for me to jump on the 34s, besides a price I couldn’t refuse.. I love skinny tires and had no problem keeping my 255s but when the 34 size came out and I could get more sidewall without sacrificing to much width it was a done deal.

And I just happen to know a place to get some 35” ST Maxx
    :gossip: @TNT4X4

Just still waiting for a kickback from all the referrals :D

Looking good man !! Try reversing at full lock yet? Mines rubbing on that bolt head. I have not had the time to see what that bolt /screw does yet.
