Is there no outside support for the tent? How does that work?

Who wanted to see these wheels? I can't remember. Did an alignment on Brandon's truck today.

 

It uses a cable to cantilever it. And a big spring. I'll take some photos tomorrow I have a gig in billings right now.

But yeah no support needed. There are optional adjustable poles you can get...or well you used to be able to get. Makes the truck lean more than anything. Ryan told me he just uses his hilift to level it out so simple way to unload the suspension

 

Looks interesting. I'd probably stick with the RTT, but I know you're main driver is mud in the bed. Perhaps the next test should be in that type of situation - see if you're (and your better half are) more bullish after that. ...though, I guess you need Frank for that.

 

Put franks tires and suspension on the single cab and let her eat.

Yeah. Plus I'd want to do new canvas and fix the rear door and probably do a repeat of resin on the fiberglass. Be a big investment. And not sure I like the topper life as it is.

But it is super spacious. If the canvas is nice and water proof be a nice spot to chill in rain storms and such.

I also am not sure if the fiberglass and wood frame would hold up to the abuse on frank.

Can't slap it on frank as the rear window latch hits the fold out table. So I'd have to mod the bumper to fit it.

I'm thinking more of a new bed rack with either canvas sides or aluminum sides.

 

Agreed, body lines are so clean it would practically sell itself. Toss a diesel in there and step aside Elon, I'm sending this thing to the moon. I think I'll go ahead and get this project started .

I have to say, I really like this guy's style and humor. You younger guys may not recognize the hilarity of some of the things he says and does, but I found myself laughing out loud at several points in this video. Enjoy!

It is. I wonder if that camper portion is a factory option from Toyota. If it isn't, the roof on that LC had to be removed (cut out) to accommodate its install.
