Yeah I shattered two bolts/nuts when I did my bushings because of rust. The passenger side mounting bracket on the rack was a problem area because one of those bolts sits right beside the exhaust. It was rusted totally, i imagine because of any grime getting baked on by the high temps in that area. One of my sway bar end links was stripped out too - some idiots worked on this thing prior to me buying it and didn't bother fixing any of their mistakes.

Haha, I doubt there are many homicidal maniacs here in TW. The fact is, you post that info, anyone can find where you live. Chances of a homicidal maniac deciding he is gonna pick you as his next victim, slim. Getting your identity stolen would be more realistic. Fact is people have used that info to find good people and do not so good things to them. The beauty of this is, you get to choose your own adventure

Plus add in Google image search, social media, and image hosting sites. My truck is spread across the internet farther then I ever intended it too. Shows up in the weirdest of places.

You never know where its going to end up ever. Once you post the photo its fair game to whatever and whoever.

I followed Timmy's guide too. The only thing IIRC that differed and threw me off a little was my sway bar end link bushings were different from Tim's 4runner. My taco has the double ball joint style end links and one was stripped out. Everything else went fine other than the rusted bolts and nuts.

The double bushing with the sleeve for the long longitudinal bolt gave me some trouble. Make sure you don't slide the bushings all the way into place (flush) before getting the metal inner sleeve started into the end of the bushing. If you compress the bushing all the way down by getting it all the way seated it's damn near impossible to slide the sleeve inside the bushing. I have to pull the bushing back out about a centimeter to get the sleeve started and then tap it in with a rubber mallet.

I need to go get the c clamp deal, tried to do it with out but it’s not working, all the bolts are out though so that’s a plus.

Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
I'm far less concerned about my plates showing in photos then the metadata attached to the photo. GPS location and date/time the photo was taken, the device the photo was taken with, user account info and sometimes much more... That info can be far more risky.

This is true I was googling something and then checked the images. Half way down the images I see the image of my truck flying through the air. I've seen your truck a few times in images too just looking up random stuff.

But so you guys know I wear boxer brief no need to peak in my window.

I'm just not going to worry about these things and find it strange that people do. I guess from all the reaction to my comment some do.

I’m like you, if someone wants to put in the they time and effort to find me from my license plate and kill me or something it must just be my time.
