I go offloading quite a bit, and my air filter always ends up fairly muddy. Wondering what the best way to keep water out of my filter would be? How to seal the housing essentially? (01 trd)

Best mod, avoid mud or going that deep in the pit.

Other then that, a snorkel as mention above.

Do you have the stock airbox or one of those "cold air" intakes?

For the CAI's, you can get a booty that goes over the filter element, but all that does is get the cover muddy, but you can at least take that off and beat it against your bumper to clean it.

Other than that: gets you a snorks.

Stay out of mud. On the 2.7, the AC idler pulley catches hell. Not sure of the 3.4.

    Gold luck.

I believe this one is 15% off MSRP and free shipping to CONUS if they get 10 people.

Yeah this time it’s right in the original post. Must’ve been good pricing on round one if they kept it quiet like that.

I like the look and function of the snorkel, I just worry about the effect it could have on resale down the road, and the fact that you have to cut a hole in the fender. I mean I know it helps the truck in the long run, I just don't want a potential buyer to go oh man this truck must have been through hell if it needed a snorkel.
