    Kings stock replacement shocks simply aren't long enough to work with the Dakars, if you go through DSM they can spec them longer to match though. OR shock relocation and no more issue :)

    You have to mount the lower shock tab lower on the axle to run a 14”. IMO it’s counterproductive for clearance and really not beneficial for travel. The body is loner so it’s just a composition. You can only get so much travel out of the leafs themselves.

    You have to remember that you have a truck and you will never be able to fill all applications. Once you get to a certain point, everything comes with a compromise.

    You can’t want a heavier duty leaf pack but not want a stiffer ride when unloaded. That’s not how this works. You have to figure out which one you want more and compromise a little. If you’ve always got your tent on then you’re solid. If you don’t, then it might be stiffer when I loaded. I personally don’t think it’s that bad but with all your mall crawler talk I just wanted to clarify.
