If your interested in a NAV-Receiver with pretty much all the bells and whistles - this is the one! After loads of research I decided to get this in my taco and am completely pleased. The sound is pristine - the ipod interface is the best in these units and the Navigation is Garmin which is considered the best.

I also added Infinity Reference 6x9 and tweeters in front and 6.5 coaxials in the back powered by a Rockford-Phosgate 400-4 amp. Awesome sound!

    Pics soon.

I got this with some IDQ 6x9 in the front and the sound is amazing. This HU is awesome.

Great input on these HUs. I am in the market for a double din at the moment.

That is a great price. I paid $1200.00 here locally less than a month ago from a friend of mine who got it for his discount at the store.

    The Ipod interface is great.

I got all my electronics at a local place that was throwing a 30% off sale on everything. I paid $1119 for the HU. Pics are coming. By the way - not that I need or will really use it much - but the videos off the ipod look mint and I'm sure my wife will love watching DVD's when traveling far on vacations, etc...

I've had it since May and it has been great. The best Nav and i-pod control going. No problems.

JVC AVX-810, Pics in my gallery. I think the Ipod control could be a little better. Does anyone have seamless ipod control with no "please wait" message that pops up? Damn it makes me mad!!

With the 8120 it says "Reading...." for about 4-5 seconds when you first turn on the truck then starts working seamlessly. If I go to the tuner than back to the i-pod there is no wait whatsoever.

thats depressing to hear, every track change or menu change i do it says please wait, track changes (music) is seamless but the text info and menu screens take the few seconds to load. Guess $500 bucks more in cost is the difference....oh and Navi

Yea, I get the same experience w/ teh 8120. Just a delay on initial startup w/ Ipod. Otherwise, seemless.

Yes, you can use the tuner, CD, I-Pod, MP3, etc... while using the Nav at the same time.
