Vin numbers

So I recently found out that if your VIN # starts with a 3 its made in Mexico and a 5 represents US. Does anyone have any stories weather there vehicle is preforming better then the other, such as US made or Mexico made?

Doesn't matter. No difference.

Edit: Other than some models are only made in one plant like the Access cabs I believe.

 

All Access Cabs are made in Texas. The Texas plant uses more robots than the Mexico plant otherwise everyone says the trucks are the same quality.

My vin starts with J......oh wait, I have a 4runner.

 

Also, all the Manual Tacoma's are made in Texas.

 

All pros are made in Texas, as well.
