Fits the passenger side with a little trimming of the back panel. Powered enclosure. Remote gain run to the console. Really nice tight sound you’d expect from JL.
Just wanted to show another JL option for you guys looking for a solution.

 

So far I’m pretty impressed with this subwoofer and enclosure. I think someday I’ll get another subwoofer and do a custom box for dual 10’s

 

I noticed a couple of people on here mounted there amps under the seat. Any reason why? There is plenty of room behind the other rear seat and.it keeps it from.being damaged. Just curious...

Mine initially was under seat because my last box took up all the space behind seat, but I have moved my amp to driver side behind backseats for more airflow

 

Ya that's where I mounted mine, I was just curious why some chose to mount it under the seat.

 

Probably easier for some is my guess

 

I was just worried about people kicking it or it getting wet. Besides I kind of like it begind the.seat kind of stealth that way.

 

More storage space, less wires to run, less impedence from long wires. Need a slimmer amp and I drilled into a wood board to raise the amp off the ground and provide airflow

 

If they used the Taco tunes harnesses they are made for under the seat.

 

Thinking about going this route, how do you like it?

 

Love it honestly. I have the gain on the amp turned up a little past where I would normally set it, and use the remote gain in the console to dial it back to my liking based upon what I'm listening to at that moment. For a compact, all encompassing enclosure, it's quite good. It's tight when you want it to be, and booming if you so desire. The only rattle I have is below 32* and only until the cabin warms up. Seems to come from the rear passenger door area, but it only lasts 5-10 mins when it's been sitting overnight.

I didn't install the enclosure, but the local shop was very tedious with their trimming of the back panel. I likely couldn't have done it better myself. Would I do it again? You betcha.

I couldn’t wait, I bought mine last month with other goodies. I’ll post a review once it’s installed. Next mod is wheels, tires and maybe
suspension. Time to full up the piggy bank again

I tried back in March to get another round started. I don't think the OP is too worried about it or others that have already participated. This is the response I received and I never received a response from my request for additional information (like why). If someone knows another angle or contact then they may be able to get more traction.

 

To bad because there still seems to be alot of interest.
