My basic audio build consist of:

    Alpine CDA-105 H/U
    (1) Rockford Fosgate T1 15'' Sub in Ported Box
    (1) Rockford Fosgate 1500x1 Amp
    (1) Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Components
    (1) Infinity Kappa 4-Channel 600 watt

I just recently blew my passenger's side infinity speaker and was gonna get them refurbished but I wasn't satisfied with there sound ever since I installed them. So I'm thinking of getting another set of components for my fronts but want to see whats your guys thoughts and recommendations. My budget is $300 or less for some quality stuff. Stereo shop told me to go with the RF T1 components to match it up but since there a rockford fosgate dealer I'm kind of iffy about that. I also heard MB Quarts were good, CDT Audio, Diamond Audio, DLS, Arc Audio..

plz don't buy them, I mean there nice if you want to replace your stockies but the sound wasn't all that great for the price of $229.99 on woofersetc.com The only reason why I got em because my bro had a best buy employee discount and I couldn't pass up the deal but now I regret it. I shoulda spent the extra money for some quality components. Someone also said on CT, infinity is JBL, which is an ok audio brand.. I have a 15'' T1, so im definitely gonna need some crispier and cleaner speakers because the kappas are drowned by the bass.

just pulled the gun and bought the Image Dynamics CTX65CS 6.5'' components. Heard great reviews about them and said these compete against the $200-$300 components in the market. Bought them for $189.99 off woofersetc.com

Another set I would look into around the same price range would be the CDT Audio CL-61AT-25T PRO for $199.99. Also good reviews saying best bang for the buck.

Next step would be to upgrade my rears with 6.5'' coaxial speakers. I found some from Image Dynamics but there kinda pricey, or these from CDT Audio, http://www.woofersetc.com/p3066/CL6EX--CDT-Audio-65"-Coaxial-Speakers.htm

Do I really need some high end speakers for the rear or would I be fine with these ones?

I'll keep you guys posted about the components once I have them installed.

I, also, just upgraded to ID components in the front with ID 6.5 coaxials in the rear. I'm happy as a clam with this setup. I've heard many people who just kept the stock speakers in the rear as all the do is add fill. The main soundstage is at the front. I went this route, as I have no intentions at this time to run a sub. So I figured I needed a little extra in the rear to compensate. Currently running the on HU power only (JVC Arsenal KD-AHD69, 20w RMS per channel) and I'm pleased. Mind you, I'm new to this arena and up until now my experience has been with stock audio w/ Walmart Pioneer speakers. Besides, I'm deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other.
