there should be a decent amount of root left in the soil to keep it together and the layer of dead grass (thatch) should remain on top. I don't think you have planed on it, but if you are growing from seed, do not use anything that contains a preemerge (barricade, deminsion etc) that keeps seeds from germinating and I trust you understand what outcome that leads to.

Hm. I quite enjoy doing yard work, so I'll probably just stick to doing it myself. My yard is quite large to afford someone else doing it..

haha, think of it this way, you could have prepaid treatment for your yard for almost 9 years for what you paid for your SECOND/backup vehicle. Its all about what you want to spend your money on. I, personally, don't mind it due to I know this isn't my forever house and I know a great yard is a selling point to a lot of people.

lol why does everyone feel the need to bring up me owning my second vehicle? I NEEDED and will continue to NEED my 2nd vehicle. My truck sat until yesterday as soon as I got my second vehicle because I didn't want anything bad to happen with the bearings.

    A 2nd vehicle is a NEED.

Nice looking grass is not, it's just a desire...so not worth the money lol

I know the laughter is because of the "you're first vehicle doesn't NEED to be what it is blah blah blah". but in the situations I am in, a second vehicle is a need.

LOL not exactly, I was laughing at the fact that your 2nd vehicle has been brought up often. However, a 2nd vehicle, no matter what the model, is not a need for anyone. Its a luxury. The only reason you need a 2nd is because you wheel your original vehicle(hence the wheel bearings going bad).

And to justify this perfect, I haven't wheeled mine, hence I have no 2nd vehicle, :D

precisely, yes. that's why I said it's a NEED for myself.

honestly, even with a stock non wheeling vehicle I think anyone who relies on their vehicle daily pretty much needs two vehicles. some think differently, but when shit hits the fan with one vehicle...the person with 2 will be ok.

now...the person with green grass....if shit hits the fan on the vehicle what you gon' do? ride a mower to work? lol

uber isn't always readily available, especially in our area, and not all folks have wifeys (btw your wifey's car counts as 2 vehicles in your possession).

sell hers, you don't need 2.

No no no. The quota is 1 car per person, not household. That's like saying your girl should sale hers since you have 2...
