Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

Cool going to see the Blue Angels fly that weekend in Waco. Might just watch the show that Saturday.

 

10 would be good for me, gives me time to get up there.

 

Need to hit up Slater, he's already put together a trash pick up run on the 7th at 2pm with the ATX tacos face book group

 

I’ll be there also working.

 

Go to Pensacola, when I was there we got to watch them fly over base every Wednesday for free. On the 4th of July they buzzed the barracks

 

Looks like we are pretty unorganized throughout the forums/FB

If we want to combine efforts we will have to work on that in the future.

If we want to just keep it as is "separated groups" that's fine also.

But, Id really like to see us come together as a whole.

And that is proving to be a tad bit difficult.

 

This sounds good to me. I will have a 40yd dumpster at my jobsite that the trash can be tossed in. Its all the way in Austin at 6th and Lamar but if anybody heading home that lives Central/South doesn't mind helping with this we can make it happen. I will be supplying heavywheight black trash bags as well.

Did they organize this separately from TTC? Wish I could do both days but will be working Saturday's again starting that weekend so Sunday will be my only day off.

 

I will be ready and willing to transpo the trash also

 

Slater organized a Bastrop/Trash clean up run I believe on the 7th at 2pm on the ATX Tacoma's facebook. Seems that another trash cleanup the next day will prove to be less fruitful. Maybe a combined organization of the two will provide more members for both groups and get more trash cleaned up rather than running separate groups.

 

Awesome Chad. I don't mind driving back into town if I have too, to help ensure the trash goes to the dump as it should have in the first place, but if another person who lives in Austin can help then my drive home from the trails is only 25 mins down FM 969 When we get set in stone who is willing to deliver the trash, I'll share my dumpster location with you and the other volunteer(s) as well as make sure there is room in it . Being a 40 yd dumpster, you'll be able to pull your truck right up to the side of it and from the bed just toss it over the side and not have to open the gate on the dumpster itself.

 

We could always just join them on the 7th.
