    @DrFunker you might appreciate this...

    So I was just taking my dogs on a walk, down the road and up a snowmobile trail, on the way back they freeze and are staring at my driveway, I see a guy but it's not the usual guy who walks his dogs up our road, so I called them back and saw what he was up to. Turns out gps sent him up our road, and now he's stuck up around the corner. This is a frequent occurrence, almost weekly we get a car or two that were led astray by gps, they then turn around in my driveway and go back and try to figure out another route with no cell or gps service and that is the end of it usually.

    *** Little background of my "road"..it's a "closed road, road not maintained" 365 days a year for the last maybe 15 years. So they keep it up until my driveway (required by law, they have tried to stop doing that multiple times) but after that it turns into bedrock and is more of a stream than a road. During the year plenty of 4x4's go up it and in the winter they shut it off past my driveway and it is a literal snowmobile trail that is groomed and maintained by the local club....Keep in mind, it is winter and we have 2 foot of snow on the ground in a lot of places still,including my road/trail. ***

    So I am just hoping this guy didn't drive a fucking tesla up there and I won't have anywhere to hitch up to his car. Luckily he says he has a truck. Now, he had to drive AROUND a nearly 5 foot snowbank that was as wide as the road to get past my driveway in the first place, this is not an easy mistake to make in the winter. In the spring yes, you don't know until you get too far and you've punctured all your gas and oil pans and maybe a few tires too, but in the winter it is an obvious do not pass with a car/truck. Anyways, bring the john deere loader out and try to get down my field, as I said there is a lot of snow here still, and I was struggling in a 3 foot drift so went backwards and followed his path up the snowmobile trail...sorry road. Got him out easy, he had a frontier and it popped out like nothing with the tractor pulling it. He got stuck twice more trying to reverse to the road so I just tugged him the last 200 yards to the dirt and let him back into the wild. I'm a catch and release type of guy I guess. He says in a state of reflection "I guess I should have realized this wasn't right, but my gps told me to go this way". :rofl:

    I will end this little tale with a quote that always stuck with me from Deltron 3030 who is a more underground rapper from my highschool days.

    "I'll never let a computer tell me shit"

    Just wait, I'd imagine scrap will be going up very soon with what's going on politically.
    Thanks, let me know if it falls through. I'll check to see if it's big enough for what I need.

    Unless you shrink your tires down and add a bunch of lights, I think it's clear that I'm copying you haha

    I may accidentally end up there sometimes :rofl:. I cut through to Black Brook Rd and over to Rt 2 sometimes for a different ride home. I don't take Chapel all the way through, I turn right at some point and go the other way around. Sometimes if I haven't done it in a while I forget one turn and end up on a closed road.
