Aye, that'd be the one. Owners are in the middle of a divorce and took my offer right away. House was previously owned by a craftsman who did killer woodwork in there. Did you go in and look?

I actually didn't realize that wilderness rim was the name of the area. I thought it was a description because the backyard leads to woods

No we didn't go look, checked it out on Redfin though. Behind that side of the street is 10ish acres of green belt, so it won't be developed anytime soon, if ever. And the green belt backs up to the cities transfer station land, which is HUGE and they only use 1/2 an acre on the opposite side of the plot for the transfer station.

Also the second it snows there are always kids trying to sled the hill.

ya I'll have game cameras in there just to see what lurks at night. I always get a kick out of that. Shoot I've got one in Idaho that's been there since September last year. Hoping to see more than just deer and turkey. I get pics of moose sometimes but no bear or cats yet.

You wont need a game camera just go to ace get a deer block and through it in the front yard. Then go out with some bread and you can almost get close enough to grab the deer. Still working on getting them to eat out of my hand, no luck yet.

I was more curious about coyotes or anything like that. Our cats would have a heyday hunting out there but I got an expensive bengal that I'd rather not lose.

Yeah we do have coyotes don't see them too often. i let my pup out one time and he chased a couple into the greenbelt. Luckily he listens well enough that he came back when called and didn't get into a fight or anything.

No @JDAM you can't hunt up there. My coworker lives up there, he already tried.

I’ve actually seen more Bobcats up in that area than Coyotes. So either way keep an eye on your kitty @JDAM

Oh and bears. Woke up one morning, went to get coffee and a bear had knocked over my yard waste bin in the back yard (unfenced) and was using it as a seat while eating the food scraps in it.

I was cool with the bear eating the scraps, and expected it. But it crushed my bin.

I'm sure half of the neighborhood would do the same. Between the dump, which the county owns, and the watershed on the other side of the rim, it's almost a safe haven up there for the animals.

what I like seeing right there in town is people wearing REI hiking gear head to tow with hydration bladder and hiking poles. Walking right down the sidewalk.

This video was from Saturday during the March for our lives whatever, which ended up being an, IMO, AR15/NRA protest. The guy front and center in the video is a local business owner.

There was easily 100+ people packing each corner at the main light in town chanting about how the NRA promotes the killing of children and AR15s don't belong in civilian hands, rabble rabble rabble....

It was pretty...interesting watching things start on the news. The supposedly "for the kids" was all old, white women. Not a kid in the picture. Even the local rally or whatever was predominantly older people. Was just interesting since these rally's were touted so much as being the new youth movement and blah blah blah.

I will say though the news did a story on Marysville School District, PD, and FD about things. Not once did any of those guys say a single thing about banning guns. Rather focusing on how to actually prevent violence. Better security, taking threats seriously, hotlines for kids to report, actually investigating things

It's super easy. Hardest part is removing the inner fender/wheel well liner to get access to the back of the fender.
