Anyone possibly interested in going to Bastrop either the 7th or 8th to help with some trash pickup and also do some wheeling? Aerial photo of the group to happen afterwards.

 

I havent been to Bastrop but really have the itch to take the truck out somewhere. I might be flying that weekend though, I wont know until next week for sure.

You guys recommend a place or want to do a day trip this weekend?

Parts/projects gathering dust:
- Rear camera relocate
- extra leaf for Dakars + all new bushings
- U-bolt flip kit
- Super bumps front and rear
- SS brake lines front and extended rear
- Reverse lights (Bajas)
- TRD Short shifter





Finished:
- OMEmu Carrier bearing drop (not sure if it was required but haven't heard anything bad, unlike a front diff drop)
- TC Bed stiffeners - broke top screw off... its stuck inside going to have to figure that one out... any ideas?
- ARB rear diff breather - no pic, will get later...
- Hi-lift mounted (had to widen a couple wholes)
- Grip tape on side steps

That looks like the perfect candidate for a small ease-out. I have one you can borrow at the next coffee and cars if you dont want to buy one.. i dont think theyre that expensive though

I really wanted to go but I don't think I can make it. I'll have my littles all weekend and the smallest doesn't like to bounce around for long (at all, really). Plus I have plans for nearly every weekend next month so I should leave one open to get things done around the house

 

Ok, cool, I think I may be able to make it... I was hoping to get the add a leaf and bushing in before I go to another one because right now the truck squeaks and its horrendous/embarrassing,I guess I could wd40 for a day... joking I tried actual grease but cant seem to get it in the right spot... (thats what she said)

 

My leaf springs are month old and they squeak like a motherfucker

 

Lol its a truck, its supposed to make noises right? My uniballs have started squeaking lately even though i lube them up with tri flow frequently..

 

yeah... not like it is now though, I cant even hear the engine over the squeaks sometimes...

 

Which leafs do you have?

 

I put some tie wraps between the leafs towards the front, squeak only when really dirty. Not sure if this would work on the allpros but it could be worth a try?
