I just bought a set of headlights to replace mine with broken tabs. I was taking them apart to sand down to get rid of the plastic haze.

I was taking the bulbs out and noticed that they all have cracked o-rings. One of them just fall apart into several pieces. Now the bulb fits really loosely without the o-ring. I was thinking I could just shove a similar sized o-ring on there to compensate, but is there a better replacement?

Also, what is this other bulb thingy? It was way up in the corner. It almost looks like a temp sensor, but I'm pretty sure it's a light. This is a set of "blacked out" headlights, so maybe that's why it looks the way it does.

2nd pic is your parking light.

the bulb pops in and out of that plastic shroud/extension. Its just a typical 194 wedge

I think you could substitute an appropriate sized o-ring for that lamp fixture and it would work equally well.
