    Don't get me wrong, I'm all about maximum brightness. But there comes a time and situation where it's not always best(yes I said it) for my needs at least.
    Example: If you are running ultimate maps + dome(white) and the time arises during night you need to read or grab something real quick. Turning any of the lights on is overbearing(not to mention if you are driving). So this is where I like to mix/match. Having a "not as bright"(or different color) in the maps for quick and easy on the eyes lighting.. but still have the ultimate dome when you REALLY need to find something. This is just my personal preference, YMMV.

    You know what, I was thinking the same thing, as much as I want the ultimate maps, I already have the dome to find stuff. But I already have regular LEDs up front and if I go any brighter it might make it difficult to drive with the brighter maps. Hmmmm. Still on the fence with this one.

    Here's idea. The face of the light could have a shroud that keeps the light out of the drivers eyes. It could be designed so that the light only hits the bottom of the seat and not the back. Would fix all the problems. This would be an easy fix.
